I have tried for three days now to update with:

The repo seems to be failing with a status code of 404 - ip not found.

On inspection the repo has a slightly different path. Can I fix this, and if so, how?

Run MX Repo Manager from the main menu and change your MX mirror to one of these: (These are MX's own mirrors. The others are voluntarily run by various third parties and many of them appear to have been neglected since early 2020 and may no longer be working properly.) Then click Apply and run

in a terminal to load the new mirror's package list.
