Hi,

The Nicotine+ Soulseek Client package is outdated in the MX Test Repo and is it possible to put an updated one there?

Current version in the repo is 3.2 and from their site the current stable version of Nicotine+ is 3.2.2, released on March 19, 2022.
If this is possible let me know thanks!

I'll take a look at it.

Since the current version is only two months later than the git pull Josh did for the MX 21 version, chances are I can use his build "debian" folder as a template.

Here are the MX 19 and 21 3.2.2 packages if you want to get it before it makes it to the test repo:

Seems like the Nicotine+ devs have been on a roll lately...3.2.6 release candidate is out already so 3.2.6 should go gold very soon.

Off-topic, but the female coyote in my avatar pic finally has had a pup born back in March start crossing the busy blvd to the park and approaching me. It's full size, just afraid to approach too closely. It's the first offspring in about four years that I've got a good look at alive; but several have been killed on the road, including a female offspring a few weeks ago. I think there were three pups about a month ago.

I have packaged 3.2.6, but need clarification from the devs, since the new internal debian folder changed the package from nicotine-plus to just nicotine, and that leads to a file conflict with nicotine-plus 3.2.5. I can work around that, but first I need to find out from the devs if that change was intentional.

OK, Debian packagers and the internal debian folder it ships with both had it as nicotine, so I've done the same with 3.2.6.
