Ok, same here.

In the preferences when in TB, I searched for http in the search box, and have the http and https set to "use google-chrome-stable" in there. My default browser is also set to that in the settings - default applications (MX menu, not in TB).

Maybe try that (for vivaldi then) and see if that helps.
