Seems the file is not there at that location. Can you try MX repo manager, change to for instance Salt Lake City? See if that helps.

Try a different repo. Apparently that one is currently at mx-installer_22.3.17_amd64.deb

https://mirrors.netix.net/mx/MX-Package ... installer/

Thanks!
MX repo manager is easy for use. I did change to another Repo.
May be my problem is I am using a VPN, that changes IP address ....

VPN changes yours, not theirs.

I've been waiting for this problem to go away (for the repos to catch up) for a couple of days already.

netix.net is the mirror that MX selects upon a default install. I've never messed with MX package / MX repo manager stuff, and I don't really want to; I just use plain Debian commands. Do I now have to use MX package management just because the MX repos are broken?

In case a repo is not available it suggested to choose working on. In case you prefer not use a tool like "MX Repo manager" to select from a list. You can manual change the package repository.
A list of MX repos is available here /usr/share/mx-repo-list/repos.txt.
Sometimes it helps to select MX managed repository,
which are currently those:

Code: Select all

grep mxrepo /usr/share/mx-repo-list/repos.txt
Italy, Milan - http://it.mxrepo.com
Netherlands, Alblasserdam - http://nl.mxrepo.com
United States, Los Angeles CA - http://la.mxrepo.com
United States, Salt Lake City UT - http://mxrepo.com
After having change repository, do reload package list
e.g. with

Code: Select all

sudo apt update
To see current used repository, run

Code: Select all

inxi -r
