Hi, coming back to the installation problem: I just experienced the same (95%) with a 1 week old Inspiron 16 Plus. Tried the above mentioned ideas to get grub to install, but failed

Funny thing is that Mint, pcLinuxOS and Zorin all install just fine, but being a long time MX user I would prefer on this OS.
Hoping that some clever dev sorts this out...
