Yea! , the beta is here.
And MX 21 is solidly based on a LTS kernel. A good omen for long term stability and life.

I will DL and test tonight !
Thanks to the whole dev team.

A very quick look at a live boot. Seems quicker than MX-19. Two small items:

It's not obvious how to select en-gb at the login screen - you have to click en-us for the sub-menu.
The first thing I do is mount my 6 data partitions and add to fstab. Disk Manager seems to be missing, so it's a bit more long-winded.

I'll look in more detail tomorrow - I've had my screen time today.

One little quirk - booting back into MX-19, I had a glimpse of the wildflower wallpaper - presumably in video memory somewhere.

disk manager is no longer maintained as its python2. you might try gnome-disks for a gui that can edit fstab.

In the main menu:
live-grub-main.png
after selecting Language-Keyboad-Timezone:
lkt.png
it shows the live-system pre-selected default settings, which are the one if you do not chose another one of those defaults and boot straight from the first menu entry. Submenus for languages are for those where multiple regional languages like French, Spanish, German or English:
en_RR.png
are available to select from.

Thanks, @fehlix, I found it quickly enough but it's counter-intuitive on the second screen to click lang=en_us to get to a screen to set lang=en_GB.

sudo sed -i.orig '/type -p lsb_release/,/distro=/s:^:#:' $(which neofetch)
which gives here as text:

Yes, and do think on all other languages, where the defaults are indicating just this.

we actually had a patched neofetch under mx19. forgot about that, will add to the list.
