How to disable KGpg Assistant

For issues with MX that has been modified from the initial install. Example: adding packages that then cause issues.

In what context ?

I have it installed on my machine (must be default I don't recall needing it), but I use gpa myself.

I don't think I ever had kgpg open when operating on keys or encrypting files.
If it won't break your system have you tried uninstalling it ?
I haven't done it because I never thought of it before but when marking it for complete removal in Synaptic no other packages are operated on; I guess it is safe for removal without breaking the system.

In your desktop environment's autostart settings, make sure that it's not doing so.

Is it safe for removal though ?

If it's not being used and has no dependedcies does it really need to take up space on someone's install ? Or is it used by another program ?
