(This will confuse anyone who was into computer or telecommunications tech in the '80s and '90s if they haven't seen it before. "Modem ready? Duplex? Common mode? Wangs (as in Wang computers and word processors)? List 1 B?" The rest of you have no idea what I'm talking about unless you've seen it before.)

Oh the horrors of dial-up and the joys of a particular Intel PCI Dial-Up modem I used to have that was faster than anything I had ever seen before, but only when running in Linux.
