REQUEST: MX Minwaita themes (GTK2/GTK3)

#1 Post by app4soft »

Package(s): mx-minwaita-themes
Version(s): 1.6.1 (even to `master` branch)
Minwaita - is a GTK2/GTK3 themes which reduces excessive padding from the default GNOME, Adwaita to make it more compact.

Variants:
  • "Minwaita" - original (vertex) window buttons.
  • "Minwaita-Vanilla - NO custom window buttons.
  • "Minwaita-OSX" - OSX window buttons.
It is especially useful for screens 1280x800 or less, as Minawita theme is a much more compact than "MX-Greybird" (MX Linux default theme).

Also, set "MX Minwaita" as alternative dependency to those MX apps/packages, which actually has "MX Greybird" as a dependency.

`mx-greybird-themes` is a dependency of `mx-tweak-data` (which itself is a dependency of `mx-tweak`).

Here is my screenshot from Synaptic from MX-19.2 Anyway, this thread is about creating `mx-minwaita-themes` package.

you mentioned the recommend stuff. I just told you it was done long ago. If you don't want an answer, then don't ask the question.

I can't speak for the packagers, but I'm not particularly interested in adding Minwaita .
