pt-BR Firefox locale not working.

#1 Post by euzao »

Hi,

Installing Brazilian Portuguese Firefox locale does not work. It does not show up in Firefox. To change its locale, I have to download it directly from the browser.

Here is my system information:

Re: pt-BR Firefox locale not working.

#2 Post by fehlix »

Seems that's not an issue for pt_BR Portuguese-Brazil locale only, but it appears that those installed locale are ignored in recent firefox.
I do also have only an option to trigger the download from within FF-preferences.
E.g I have installed de_DE german firefox locale from within MX Package installer -> Pop-Apps. -> Language
The xpi-locale file get properly installed, but ignored by Firefox.
The identical xpi-file get downloaded into the users firefox profile when added within Firefox preferences.
