Best youtube-dl alternative (with GUI) - SOLVED

I tried SMtube but couldn't get it to download. Is there a good alternative?
Support for MX and antiX Linux distros

download youtube videos, especially tutorials.

καλά κατεβάσματα...
That's interesting because I just used it to download a random video from YouTube and it's working fine. The thread you linked to says that the youtube-dl's GitHub page was taken down, not that the app no longer works. It just means that the developer will have to find another place to host his or her source code and do the version control and push-pull requests and stuff for newer versions.alexjack wrote: Sat Nov 07, 2020 3:01 am Youtube-dl GUI uses youtube-dl. Anything using youtube-dl will be broken at the moment and maybe indefinitely.
