Under normal conditions, both music and Compiz will start on first-load ... YMMV

Mini_Me has become a huge favorite of mine and many others - its very small, very fast, secure, anonymous, and with Xfce4 + Compiz Fusion it also uber funky, and it simply just works ... now build your own customized O/S today, snapshot it often, all the tools are included, no worries - ever
Mx Buster [10] Is-Bullet-Proof - we have nevr been able to break it and we have tried many, many times with both XFCE4/KDE and simply failed miserably
Kudos To The Developers - they simply keep on working, never stop, never whinge or whine ..... ever - Bravo!!
This ReSpin is now meaner & leaner ... plus it has all the latest AHS support, the new K5.6, and is still only <650MB - much smaller than anything else on this insane planet
It runs cooler, with no video shearing, especially after huge updates and improvements - like a fine Claret or Cabernet, it only gets better with age - especially on an ancient 12x year old dual-core, dusty Intel CPU that is clearly suitable as a lunch hook only ... it is merely the mule, homeboys, plus it has never quit - not once - now chill, und remember - never shoot the messenger - ever
As stated, ISO size is still only <650MB even after 2x monster updates, which have fixed a bunch of previous niggles
Once again - Kudus to the Magnificent MX Developer Team - you guys are simply beyond awesome

To those of you who yearn for the halcyon days of yore - this ReSpin is as good as KDE3.5 with Beryl/Compiz/Fusion of years gone by - even though earlier hybrids worked, they were tenuous at best - this latest <200 MB update from the Developers simply rocks - this XFCE4/Compiz Fusion marriage is magnificent … well done, folks
Just the Basics are included here, including the fabulously crazy Compiz, which will rock your graphics boat, baby. Once the live iso has loaded, right-click, Graphics - Compiz Start, now roll your mouse wheel - Baddabing – as before the 'jack' a/c is already activated – same with Audacious – simply adjust volume - enjoy SRV

Y'all might want to use this iso as a base for building your very own O/S - there is literally zero-crud left and there are oodles of great apps to choose from - simply check MX Tools, MX Package Installer, browse thru everything
Once the ‘live’ O/S has loaded, select the Installer Icon usually in the left, upper corner of the screeen, and click on it - or R/C on the screen, hit Terminal, type-in 'sudo minstall' and away ya go ...
For all you Gates Hostages, R/C - hit System, Partition Editor or Gparted, enter ‘root’ and look at your various partitions – choose the largest one, preferably a storage volume, either FAT or NTFS, shrink it by say 20GB, then format that 20GB partition only using ext4, DO NOT format your larger data partition, now exit GParted
Hit installer or open a root terminal, type ‘minstall’ sans quotes, follow the GUI, use the partition you just created – you can do this entire operation over various screens, for easy reference, back und forth, until its done – dont rush it.
Once you are done installing everything, reboot, unplug stick, and there’s your very spartan new boot menu, which we will beautify later ... let it reboot - your fresh install will be the top entry, or simply hit enter.
This rendition can be used as a building block, for all kinds of interesting projects – from secure banking, to fixing errant Operating Systems, file/picture recovery or a full blown Internet WYSIWYG system or SOHO or anonymous email-client ... Unix is, after-all, all about choices - this ISO is fully functional, is even smaller than all the previous respins, due to better compression algo, removing more crud, and despite a huge recent AHS update from Our Fabulous Developers ...this respin beauty is a work of love, with a little funky art thrown in, and up-to-date as of 10/23/2020.
We did remove Audacious, the MP3 files und CF but only saved say 30MB in compressed [iso] form - about the size of a small Pavarotti [RIP] Aria, so decided to go with a little Bling instead - everybody simply loves the Fire on screen effects ...especially my one companion who thought the big screen was about to catch fire !!!
