#1 Post by richb »

MX 19.2 KDE configured with a top panel and added widgets. Auro Kumar Sahoo helped with the wallpaper.

Really sharp, clean looking desktop - the wallpaper is awesome as well.

I really like the system widget in the top panel. What is it? Thanks.

Nice layout. Is that just a second panel or Latte Dock?

Auro has been really experimenting with different style logos and graphics for MX now that it has 3 different environments. I do like this version.
Desktop: Intel i5-4460, 16GB RAM, Intel integrated graphics
Clevo N130WU-based Ultrabook: Intel i7-8550U (Kaby Lake R), 16GB RAM, Intel integrated graphics (UEFI)
ASUS X42D laptop: AMD Phenom II, 6GB RAM, Mobility Radeon HD 5400

It is a second panel. Auro was very nice to modify and clean up what I sent to him.

Very Nice :)
I don't think people realize how much KDE can be configured in a variety of ways.

I just wish there was a menu alternative that worked exactly like whisker.

There is one, almost same and I have tried in kubuntu 20.04 and netrunner.

It's called simple menu, very clean and whisker like.
