Going AHS or not
Going AHS or not
I got a nice little Dell 9020 SFF computer running i5 4590 with integrated Intel HD 4600 graphics. Would I see any benefit with AHS with it's newer kernel and mesa or I'm good and covered with regular MX?

Re: Going AHS or not
if all your hardware works fine on regular mx, then you aren't gaining that much going to ahs. we push updates to the mesa stack more often on ahs, and some of that stuff does benefit older graphics drivers, so that's a consideration. Standard MX as of 19.2 will receive automatic kernel updates. ahs does not. so it depends.
My hardware is older than yours, and I only run ahs these days.
