The latest one is very useful for newcomers to MX: "Things to do after installing MX Linux"

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aESEb8l ... e=youtu.be

I think it's a great introduction to the distro.

Agreed. The installation one is excellent as well, especially with the partitioning sequence laid out. May be time to switch videos on the home page...

The latest one needs to be presented to new users in some way, perhaps via the Welcome screen.

That's an interesting idea, though I'd like to have the install one alongside as well

They are great videos I always learn something, I learned for example how to stop the terminal to keep scrolling on output :bagoverhead:

It's great format for visual people to see what's possible and understand what goes on without having to read the fine manual

That was anew one to me as well. I always scrolled back and quickly lost what I was looking for as the output continued to scroll.

I thought I knew my way around MX Xfce (I have to specify now that there's possibly an official KDE version "coming soon to a theater near you") pretty well but every time I watch one of Dolphin's videos I learn a few new things. I didn't know for instance that the Window Buttons panel app's settings were available in MX Tweak. He did a great job explaining MX Package Installer too, including why it's better to use it to install things from the test repo vs. enabling it so you could install packages from test in Synaptic or command-line apt. I agree that this would be a nice video to have on the front page of the website, or perhaps include a URL shortcut to it on the desktop by default. And as always, his videos are pleasant to watch and not at all boring or dull. I like his informal, conversational style.
