How MXLinux became my one and only distro

So for a while i was distro hopping like a madman and then someone on the linuxrocks.online mastodon instance mentioned MXLinux when i posted a toot (yes they are called toots) about wanting a distro that just works and stays out of my way while also not showing signs that everything is going to become unstable
the first thing i did when running MXLinux was customizing the desktop of course and then discovering the cool feature in the installer that lets you keep all the changes you made in the live iso
Then while digging around the whisker menu i noticed mxtools
At this point it was a lot of wait it has a gui for this!
Then i updated the os of course followed by using the mx program installer which while most people complain it's to basic i honestly like the laid back not in your face look of it
I did distro hop a few times during all this but no matter were i went i always ended up thinking yeah but MXLinux does this ten times better
So after debating constantly i said
you know what?
MXLinux has everything i need so it's my main distro and i have not turned back since
Basically
MXLinux is the best dang distro i have used and i'm glad the people behind it seem to share my mindset about how stuff should work in a distro
