Softmaker FreeOffice - can't install with apt

I see that Softmaker FreeOffice 2018 is available in MX Package Installer and that the package name is softmaker-freeoffice-2018.
But it doesn't seem to be available with apt. Since I can see it in the Package Installer, I was expecting to be able to issue this command to install it:

Code: Select all

sudo apt install softmaker-freeoffice-2018
That way I can install it it with all my other apps when I reload the system.

Any ideas why FreeOffice is not available from apt but is in Package Installer?

Its in Popular Apps, which can enable and pull from 3rd party repositories, like the freeoffice one.

freeoffice is not open source, and is not in our repo as a result.

Gotcha.
Can I add their Deb repository or will that break something with MX Linux?
