(solved)Future failure warning in the Installer

I have recently installed MX 19 on my laptop and everything appears to have gone smoothly. However when I went to install this on my Desk top I received this warning in the installer. "The disks with the partitions you selected for installation pass the SMART monitor test (smartct) but have a higher than average failure rate in the near future. If unsure, please exit installer and run GS smart control for more information." So I did not continue to install and tried to run GS smart control. I was asked for the root password which has not been set up yet. What would I type in? Also I recently installed Linux Mint on this desk top and did not receive any warnings of this kind. So then I am wondering why I would get this warning trying to install MX 19 and why I might have a higher risk of failure in the future if I continue the install?

The default root password when running the live USB is root. The default user password is demo. Found in section 2.4 of the manual by searching it for password.

I should have looked for it there. GS smart control indicated that an update for the drive may be available and I have internal errors on the hard drive. Looks to me like the life on my Hard drive might be soon coming to an end but this is beyond my level of expertise. I'm going to go ahead with the install and backup, backup, backup. Thanks for your comment.
