I'd like to request a package called GridTracker. This is an amateur radio application that maps out reported spots and contacts. It uses "pskreporter" to query a server where "spots" are reported and mapped.

Re: GridTracker
It's closed source, and I can't find what their redistribution policy is for their binaries. Do you have any idea what those are?
Have you confirmed that their binaries run in MX Linux?

Did you not see my last PM about this package, maybe it didn’t go through.KX5JT wrote: Mon Jan 27, 2020 4:26 pm I'd like to request a package called GridTracker. Stevo is correct, as I said in my PM last night, the source code seems closed and there is no info on redistribution.
Arch Linux has it in AUR, they have it marked “restricted”. And it seems they just copy (install) the files over.

Re: GridTracker
Received quick reply from the GridTracker team:
I’ve asked if there is a preferred copyright notice, but I assume we can package this similar to Arch at this point. Need to look at it some more though.GT is closed source, but you are free to redistribute it as long as there is no charge to do so.
It runs on the NWJS framework (included) which *is* open source.
GT is copyright Stephen Loomis and Henry Forte where applicable
