Hello,
minigalaxy seems to be very nice, wanted to try it because i didn't find the gog runner for Lutrix

have a problem : games download but then i get an error minigalaxy can't unzip the games
unzip is installed and i have 44 GB free harddisk space

I have Mx Linux i386 installed

does minigalaxy or unzip not have the proper rights to do this? unzip the games when clicking download in Minigalaxy?

what games are you trying to install, are they native Linux GOG games, or Windows GOG games?

can you launch minigalaxy from the terminal and see if anything additional warnings or error messages appear?

I only own 1 GOG game, so that is what I use to test minigalaxy works, I have not tested the i386 version since the first packaging... but I will today.

There is a confirmed issue with running minigalaxy on i386 systems.

I am working with the user that reported it and the minigalaxy developer to determine if it is unzip, Debian, or minigalaxy specific for i386 systems.

Please do not report issues on game downloads not working for i386. I will replace this post with either announcing a fixed version is available or the fix in general.

Hi there,

Is there any progress on this issue?

Can Minigalaxy be updated to version 1.0?

Minigalaxy has been updated in the MX Test Repo to version 1.0.0 plus Git commits as of 20200104.

Please do not enable any repos to install this. You should be able to find and install it using the MX Test Repo tab in MX Package Installer.

The majority of the changes are identified (except recent Git commits) are identified here:
https://github.com/sharkwouter/minigala ... /tag/1.0.0

If you use or test Minigalaxy, please let us know, I'd like to move this to the stable repo sooner rather than later.

Many thanks, will try it.

Also it seems that the developer has already released a fix version yesterday, with multiple fixes, so I guess that one should be more stable. Will test the version currently in the test repo nevertheless and I'll edit this comment.

Edit:

Yeap, it installs and starts just fine, I am connected to my GOG account, I managed to re-download a game (as a test), launched it fine; however, when I tried to update some games, after updating the games, they were still shown as requiring an update. This seems fixed in the changelog for 1.0.1. Also when pressing the download button for a DLC, Minigalaxy would show it as downloading but after the button to download remained unchanged so I was not sure if the DLC installed or not (this time I'm not sure whether the issue is only on my end or others have it as well).
