Da Vinci resolve is proprietary software and not hostable in our repos.

In addition, they have the download of their free version behind a registration wall. You don't have to pay, but you do have to sign up.

is kdenlive about the same in a final product?

I've never used Da Vinci Resolve but i have used Kdenlive for years. It does what I need. I wouldn't try to shoot a major motion picture, but I've done little league football game, concert footage, and youtube videos with it.
