Yep, some folks'll probably parse his words ad infinitum/nauseam ... no matter. When you look at the overall picture, the other distros he matched MX with, you can't help but be proud of the work done by this Team!

I agree with you

Dedoimedo loves Ubuntu, he loves KDE Plasma, been that way for many years. He gives credit where credit is due, puts aside his bias in doing so. What he says about MX 18 is not a knock on MX 19, truth be told he is actually pulling for MX success. For those who get "irritate" over his opinion's I will say, Dedoimedo has done more promoting MX Linux than the "irritate" ever will.

I am enormously grateful to him, even when I disagree, for the detailed attention he gives to his reviews. No other reviewer has that kind of vision.
