MX Linux wins!

#1 Post by keyfitter »

Congrats to the developers of MX Linux for a great job! After trying a few distros to replace the Slackware based distros that I have used for years as main operating systems, MX wins my vote. It installed without a hitch on a Dell Latitude and only a minor issue with the boot loader on this old desktop I built in 2008. I actually got started with Linux in 2004 and never looked back even if I have to keep up with a Windoze computer for the wife. Now I am in the planning stage of building a new desktop when I decide on the CPU. MX Linux will be my main OS of choice. Well, have a great Christmas and a Happy New Year! :number1:

MX is amazing. Slim and fast even on old hardware. Over the past year or so, I have migrated 4 computers over to MX from various other distros and am running it on one USB drive with persistence.

Welcome to the club, and Merry Christmas!
