I'm using Pale Moon on MX 18.3

When I go to view a movie on Disney+ I get this popup ...
A Search of this Forum on "disney" brought up nothing.

Is there a known problem with Disney+ and Linux or Pale Moon or ??, please?

until very recently Diseny+ did not support linux at all. I understand its working with firefox now, but I don't have the service to try.

Have you used MX Codecs to install all the codecs?

Have you checked using Firefox which has the widevinecdm software?

Try a web search on "disney+ linux" (I see a lot of hits there)

Also a big fan of some Disney movies etc. Lol ... people pretend they're just putting on those movies for the kiddies, yeah, errrr ... it's to keep the kids occupied. Okay ... sure buddy. :D

Went to watch such content where ? Youtube or ? Things change, it's best to use a modern web browser which is bound to be keeping pace with those changes, vs some obscure browser or Firefox fork(s.) They don't have the wo/man-power, often the knowledge, experience or skill vs a real mainstream browser. Firefox = Mozilla, Chrome = Google Inc etc. For that matter the motivation either.

Can run into outdated flashplayer issues, noticed not too long ago in FF's settings something along the lines of DRM = digital rights management support, Mozilla leaves this disabled default, someone has to check a box to enable it. Prior to doing that YT (some settings put there by Mozilla)was informing me my/your browser doesn't support blahblahblah, click here to learn more or enable etc. Afterwards now all that content plays fine.

Just some FYI stuff, keeping the world safe for all the kickbutt Disney movies is definitely a good cause. Errrrr, I only watch em for the kids too. Errrrrr, I don't have any kids around though. I watch them for prior kiddies which were in my life though. You never know, some of em might contact me and want to discuss Disney movies, so I'm staying current for their sake.

It's been stated many times on the PM forums that the browser doesn't support closed-source DRM, nor has any plans to do so. Sorry.

I'll try Firefox on my MX 19 laptop - after I reinstall 19 on it.

Dang it pointless but going to anyway. Op = original poster, person who started the thread (asking for clarification/help etc.) Don't just thank one person, others took their time, shared their know-how in attempting to help or teach you something. Don't just say hey, thanks admin(guy with the red username.) It's just as easy to type, thanks everyone, I appreciate it etc. Hopefully you/someone actually does and means it sincerely too. Pointing this out in a FYI thing as well. Cause x-person makes a habit of doing such inconsiderate things, needless to say others in the community are going to tend to make it a habit to not bother helping or informing that person of stuff. I almost put you on my ignore list due to this one interaction.

Tend to find fixes, solutions etc and learn things from credible sources of info on anything I'm interested in for myself. So don't bother asking for help/support etc. Just honestly pointing it out. It's a common decency kind of thing, a thank you gals/guys can go a long way. Blahblah and blah. :)
