firefox 50 and above
has right vertical
bar, which can be moved
with single click...
how can add the same
in palemoon?
palemoon as firefox
Re: palemoon as firefox
Never seen anything like it in Pale Moon. Try the Pale Moon extensions page or try Waterfox. But I probably don't know what you are talking about because I don't see it in Firefox either.
Note to self and others: SysVinit is a good option. However if you run into problems try with systemd first. This applies to AppImages, Flatpaks, GitHub packages and even some Debian packages.

Re: palemoon as firefox
Is this the right mindset--wanting to increase Pale Moon's similarity to Firefox when they were already similar? Or, wanting Pale Moon to be Firefox without Mozilla's branding? The opposite mindset would be: let's continue to preserve whatever subtle differences they may have.
I no longer know what Firefox does or what it looks like, to such an extent that I can't be certain it is still similar to Pale Moon. Not much reason to look. Pale Moon is too fully adequate.

Single-click vertical scrolling works for me on palemoon 28.7.2, 64-bit, on MX 19. What palemoon version do you have installed? I installed mine from MX Package Installer, in the Popular Apps tab.
Primary Computer - Commodore 64: Processor - MOS 6510/8500, 1.023MHz; Memory - 64kb RAM, 20kB ROM - 8k BASIC V2, 8k Kernel, 4k Character ROM; Display output - 320x200, 16 colours; OS - BASIC V2.0; Weight: 1.8kg

OK, well if you are using the SSE version, you are probably very limited in your options to change the default behavior. I would not consider the lack of one-click vertical scrolling to be a deal-breaker, since you have so few modern web browser options for SSE machines. My bigger concern would be trying to get a commitment from palemoon to continue supporting the SSE version, as I think the one you are using is over a year old now if I recall correctly. You can definitely talk to the palemoon developers in their forum - they seem quite responsive to requests.bled wrote: Mon Nov 11, 2019 1:22 am thanks

If you want to try to find a setting that will change your scrolling behavior, I would first of all ask in the palemoon forum. Secondly, you can go into about:config on palemoon, type in "scroll", and you should get quite a few options. However, probably no one but a palemoon developer is going to know for sure what all those options actually do, so you are still going to be best off asking your questions in the palemoon forum, which is here: https://forum.palemoon.org/
As I say, they seem quite friendly and responsive on that forum in my experience. Sorry, I cannot help you further with this, as I don't have a machine now that would run the SSE version, so I have no way of helping you try anything for palemoon SSE.
