Since I have solved screentearing in Firefox in MX 18.3 I would like to share my solution. Fixing video tearing and the Firefox scroll glitch for Intel GPU's was the primary reason we added that to MX Tweak in the first place. It was quite annoying back after we bumped up to Mesa 13.0.6. I don't know if it's in our wiki under Tearing fixes, though. MX Tweak / Congfig Options. Select: use intel driver instead of defaul "modsetting" driver (requires restart).

Yes, 4.12. Sorry that I posted in this thread. I was so glad that I found a solution that I wanted to post it and share my solution. This post about the beta release was the first post that mentioned screentearing, so I immediatedly posted my reaction. A few minutes later I realized my solution is already well known. Silly me.
