Launcer Request(s)

#1 Post by manyroads »

If possible I'd like to see the following launchers added to our Testrepos:

https://ulauncher.io/ (I've built it and am testing it with bspwm on antiX19). It won't build for me here. ;)
https://cerebroapp.com/ (I tried this on antiX and it is missing some stuff... no errors just scrunched. It may not actually be FOSS. I'm not certain.)
Pax vobiscum,
Mark Rabideau - ManyRoads Genealogy -or- eirenicon llc. (geeky stuff)
i3wm, bspwm, hlwm, dwm, spectrwm ~ Linux #449130

I'm confused. Do you mean you were able to build and run it successfully on antiX, but not "here" (MX?).

Our tiny packaging team is really busy right now populating the MX 19 repos and keeping other packages updated. uLauncher does have a PPA, and perhaps you'd be interested in learning how to port packages over from those? It actually makes things much easier than compiling from raw source like you're doing.

Firefox gives me a skeezy website warning about that cerebroapp link...

I know its weird but yes I can compile on antiX19 but not MX18.3. No worries. As for cerebros that sleezy website warning seems to be "mother moziila" getting sick over a certificate. Again, no rush. The ulauncher thang (Tejas speak) is awesome. :number1:
