Please do not post only a link. At minimum do please also explain why you think
somebody should click this link, e.g. what is it about.
If it is so important for you to share this link, do also explain a bit,
within the posted message text.
Thanks

Ok.
If you want to introduce someone to Linux, this article is brilliant.
My s/o was faced with a done-deal, she survived.

That's a pretty good one on how tohelp someone who may be motivated to find an alternative. Like "Windows rot," the term given by some techs to describe the gradual slowdown of processes and such in Windows.

If there's no compelling reason to switch, people just aren't going to do it. For me it was keeping an aging but perfectly good computer from going to waste. It didn't make sense to replace a working machine just because some big ol' megacorp says I "have to" because they're not supporting it anymore.

People need a reason of their own to switch from Win or Mac to 'Nix or BSD. Trying to persuade people to switch for philosophical reasons or even for money won't motivate most people.

It sometimes means Significant Other (who may need more help than "some one")

First I thought the Subject line was enough of an explanation. Second I was in a hurry. Won't happen again.
