antiX alpha 2 net images 'stretch' versions available
As before - the blurb -
Want to build up from the bare minimum to create your own personalised antiX Debian systemd-free install?
Then, try our net.iso install images.
Available for 32 and 64 bit processors for Debian stretch.(Note that since Stretch is a moving target so libsystemd0 might get installed)
Images are just over 150MB.
What's on the iso?
* New! 4.9.6 custom antiX kernel and headers (not libre)
* cli-installer
* antiX live system and persistence
* cli remastering
* live-kernel-updater
* live-usb-maker
* nano for editing
* rsync
* eudev - let me know how well this works
* sysvinit as init default. No systemd or libsystemd0
* gettext-base, lockfile-progs, xz-utils, (bugfix)
* console-date and lsb-release will get installed during the installation stage (bugfix)
* libudev1 and libudev-dev to avoid dependency issues after installation since we ship with eudev
Get them here:
https://sourceforge.net/projects/antix- ... /antiX-17/ '''Stretch'''
These images are offered to experienced Debian users since the cli-installer assumes that users have some knowledge of Linux.
On first boot, follow the instructions to login as root and start the cli-installer.
Make sure you have an Internet connection before running the installer and you know the partition you want to install onto eg sdb2.
You MUST say 'Yes' to the 'Are you using a net install? question and you must install grub to the MBR.
At the moment UEFI install is not supported.
