Things are moving pretty well, I agree. The ratio is about 2:1 overall on LinuxTracker for x86 at this point after nearly 200 completions (and much higher in SF so far).

Been seeding both 32&64 bit versions from my Croatia-located seedbox for some hours now. RuTorrent automatically shuts down at 5x downloads, but I'll restart it. Thanks for the final so quickly.

If you are using Transmission, you can cancel that auto shutdown in Preferences.

Interesting to note that about two hours ago, seeding stopped. Guess that Europe was going to sleep and North America having supper. It has perked up again with 64 now more than twice the 386 upload.

83 seeders for x64 now--really nice! 51 for 386 is good too.

That's my impression too.

And if they are all working at the rate showing here, it would amount 5-600 downloads in the past 12 hours.

I started to seed too, I am not a Bittorrent regular user, not sure if it's going well, I see Seeds 0, Peers 1(8) for 32bit and 2(18) for 64bit. Does that look OK to you?

What you guys do for me, I appreciate beyond words.

I couldn't run my BOINC Farm (20 machines, 100% loaded, 24/7/365) without you...

(flicking cigar while in mouth ala Groucho Marx)...and I barely do it with you!

BTW, my Seeder runs 24/7/365 also with the latest MX, Debian, and antiX releases.

Yes,that looks good. The numbers vary all the time. Well over 1000 total so far for the torrents.

And at 0443UTC, torrents have passed the 1200 completed downloads. Don't think that you need any more seeders Jerry.

Downloaded 32bit and 64bit iso from LinuxTracker.com, and have been seeding for 6 hours. Current session shows 3.61 GB uploaded and 2.41 GB downloaded. Ratio is 1.4. I plan to seed until tomorrow and look at logs then. Jim205 MX16 rocks.

Only gotten about 0.54GB each uploaded, with ratio of 0.4
over the last 3 days. Probably because my local ISP is slow.
Any tricks with Transmission to make sure it keeps running?
I've reviewed them a couple of times but restarting seemed to help most.

Are they stalling? If so I went into ~/.config/transmission/settings.json and changed to This will prevent your torrents from stalling if they are not seeding for the set amount of time which is 30 minutes by default. Make sure to restart Transmission after making the change.

Same here. With over 100 seeders for 64bit, the download performance must be stellar.

Cooking getting better - over 1650 completed torrents and in DW's 7 day listing, MX-16 is up to tenth.

Just after 0400UTC on Saturday. Torrents just passed 1700 total and MX-16 up to 85th on DW's 6 month listing and up to 7th on the 7 day list.

Page Hit Ranking, I wonder what that really means? But MX Linux is at 7 last time I happened to look.

Agree, this solves many questions with downloading files, almost every site has a link to the torrent. So the step-by-step installation was successful.
