Presa in seria considerazione l' elevata quantità di pacchetti richiesti per aggiornare il SO dopo la sua immediata installazione , ho ritenuto opportuno procedere alla creazione di una nuova iso del SO aggiornato e testato in data odierna , al fine di restituirgli la sua immediata semplicita per chi si accinge ad installarlo per la prima volta .
Le nuove ISO saranno disponibili on line dal mio spazio su server istitutomajorana nei prossimi giorni , in doppia versione : una localizzata 'it' per l' utenza mepis italiana , una per l' utenza MepisCommunity con localizzazione standard 'en'

Serious consideration of the 'high amount of packages required to upgrade the OS immediately after his installation, I decided to proceed to the creation of a new iso of the OS updated and tested to date in order to restore his immediate simplicity for you preparing to install it for the first time.
The new ISO will be available online from my server space istitutomajorana in the coming days, in two versions: a localized 'it' for the 'Italian MEPIS user, one for the' user location with MepisCommunity standard 'en'

Great. I'll take the time to download to see how well it works on my wife's laptop (still running Mepis 11), as I'm trying to figure out the best upgrade option for it, and still haven't tried Mepis 12.

Thanks for taking the time to update it and please let us know when link to the .iso is available.

From the moment both iso will be available in my server space majorana, insert here in this thread also 2 on the download link.
Presumably no later than Friday night will be both online
