Nice graphic, but I don't feel that for using for MX.

Playing around in blender this weekend brought me to this.. if anyone is interested I will touch it up, and wrap it into a grub sequence.

Amazing contributions.

I think we should avoid the use of the Welcome word in the "hero grub stage", because is too obvious.

Some of your amazing designs could be adapted to let the hero grub text and options to have more air around.

Thanks.

Thank you ! And great feedback. I will work on a little more space in there. (I found it crowded too.)

This now code complete from grub through login. I will clean up, run it through a few machines to verify all good and then post it all.

Freja, I added back in the MX Linux and removed the "welcome to" . Also, what would you think about the entire splash being in that upper left corner to work it all seamless from grup to login ? (or maybe centered, but using the wireframe mountains ? (I will mock it up when I get a chance. )

Current state:

Very nice.
Just out of interest, what does it look like if user has chosen auto-login?
Would this work on live medium?
Thanks

live has the classic problem of getting the plymouth modules into the live initrd. its just not really set up for it right now.

Love that login background. Nice blend of graphics. I use the Slick-Greeter but that image would work really well.
BTW, can you post that background?

Thanks and certainly. These MAY NOT be the finals.. at this time I believe they are, but my eye keeps catching things ...

I think good, :cool2:

by the way, The current code seems to have a problem with animation breaks in modern fast machine(high-resolution machines). This is the case in my environment. I'll post the system information.

There is also a problem with black screens on the animation screen when the screen is output externally via HDMI.

I don't know about the HDMI output case, but the former may be caused by the 2160x1440 resolution.
