Of course, the thread is: https://forum.mxlinux.org/viewtopic.php?t=72618

Just in post number 2 where @Jerry3904 said: "For many windows, you can right-click the titlebar > Layer > and choose the level of "topness" you want."

That is the trick I used to place conky over the top of the active windows.

Cheers

So basically, that's a running conky that sits on top of app finder because of the layer selected?

Right, as you can see there is nothing fancy.

Hi,

As an observer the recent Rofi work has been fascinating! Excellent work and deployment by all!

Yet another rofi-related screenshot - and then it'll stop, I promise...

Three rofis running simultanuously (but of course not showing at the same time, don't let this composed screenshot fool you), each initiated from an alternative configuration file. The specific rofi-theme and settings are likewise set in such designated config files :
--> iconic menu : started from a 'mx-comfort-dark' tint2 button (rofi exec command pointing to ~/.config/rofi/config-iconic.rasi file)
--> run box : started from keybind e.g. [shift]+F1 (rofi exec command pointing to ~/.config/rofi/config-run.rasi file)

Any other rofi theme can be started from the default keybind, and using the standard ~/.config/rofi/config.rasi settings. None shown in this screenshot, obviously.

Needless to say that mx-rofi-manager doesn't access the alternative config-iconic and/or config-run files. These need to be set manually.

I like it, and I like seeing people play with this tool!
