A couple of dock items ...
1. If I put the dock on autohide, the portion showing is too thin (apparently near zero) to catch with the cursor--which defeats the whole purpose. Unsure ATM if that is just this machine.
Nope, same issue on my laptop.
Edited init file to
session.screen0.slit.autoHide: true
Dock hides so only border is visible, but no mouse over is possible to get it to show.
Tried removing border from dock- no change.
Tried making border thicker - no change.
@Jerry3904 @Melber I'm not seeing that issue. When set to autohide I show a thin yellow line (I changed the color and moved to center of the screen to be able to see it better) and when I mouse over the dock reappears. I just can't right-click on it.

Beta 1 XFCE (real metal install):
- the printer and scanner auto-detect now detects my Brother network printer/scanner. Scanner no longer shows the weird authentication popup window. This is with the new default firewall "on" settings. Excellent.
- the Sunflower entry in MXPI Popular Apps doesn't work - I assume this hasn't been packaged for MX23 yet.
It's late here so I'll test more tomorrow.

Well , my last report was stopped at some point. here I paste the QS Info despite it is useless on this issue. It happens whatever system you try to install.
Yesterday I tried the beta-1 of MX-23. All started well, in text mode, as it should be. If you pressed F2 (language) and selected "Catalan", the next screen has this text in the bottom line:
"Alt-F1 Vides spousteci proces" and "Alt-F10 vratit se sem".
It seems that, instead of the requested language (Catalan, CA) it uses (Czech, CZ). IIRC, reported this bug when issued MX-21 (same issue, "Small bug on installer of MX-21 KDE» 18 Nov 2021 10:41", but it is still present in MX-23. Not sure about antiX.
I am the translator into Catalan, and now all appears to be 100% translated. Anyway, if you need any further contribution/correction, I am ready.
This seems to be a small bug, easy to fix. Hope the final issue of MX-23 can be free of this.

@fehlix ? what do you think.

@Melber @kobaian @ceeslans DO has packaged mx-fluxbox and mxfb-accessories so by tomorrow you should have a better test candidate for both dock and font.

MX 23 xfce wi-fi hotspot mode no longer works like it did on MX 21(or Debian 11) at least when booted from the live USB.
In
Network Manager /
Wi-Fi Security If I set
Security to any kind of encryption with a password (
WPA & WPA2 Personal or
WPA3 Personal) I can't connect to the hotspot with my phone.
Security has to be set to
None or
Enhanced Open and I have to disable UFW to make it work.
Somebody else needs to verify this.
The same thing occurs on MX 21 if I update all the network related items in the backports repo so I don't know if this is a new "feature" from Debian or something changed that is causing me a hardware problem.
For the hardware info Here is QSI from MX 21.3.

Hmme, the QSI shows you booted in UEFI. The F2-language selection is only available in BIOS/MBR mode - not within UEFI GRUB menu. So that's a bit unclear within your report.
Are you saying that only the displayed text "Alt-F1 Vides spousteci proces" and "Alt-F10 vratit se sem".
is within the wrong language?
Is it tranlsted with another language, or is the line untranslated in English? (Ooops re-read it again:) You are saying it is displayed in Czech, not in Catalan and not in English. OK.
But the system booted further into the correct selected language?
And does happen in both UEFI-boot and BIOS/MBR or only within one?

@Jerry3904 Will lxappearance make it to MX-23 fluxbox final?

It will not--which is why it's not in this b1.
But it'd be great if for the sake of testing you could look carefully at the the Font and Theme for MX-23 (starting tomorrow, after the updated Font comes through). DO has done a great job with MX Tweak and our "user-devs" have done a huge amount of work on Font.
