About the many compress options in Dolphin: with .odt, .docx and .epub files this results in having a context menu with: 'KEC: Compress', 'KEC: Extract', 'Compress' [with Ark] and 'Extract' [with Ark]. A bit too much I think.

I'm using the same visual preferences and appearance I had in beta 1 but some programs don't look good for example Quiterss looks all white, it doesn't read.

we haven't changed anythemes, but its very possible with Qt that some apps won't work with a given theme.

I just can't get any sound on my laptop through HDMI. I have selected the proper selections from MX select sound and PAVU. One strange behavior is that on youtube, although everything is silent, it plays the content at an unbelievable fast speed when I have selected HDMI output through pavu.

But why did they look good in Beta 1 and now in Beta 2, do they look blank? It's the same theme I'm using.

I don't know, but we literally did 0 with the themes.

what's the theme you are using?

kc1di wrote: Sun Jul 19, 2020 9:37 am Also in Okular the odt backend should be installed by default as many files today are .odt files.
My naive idea would be that there is LibreOffice for those. Plus: when I try to install okular-backend-odt, it needs 7 dependencies, 56,8 MiB needed to install. I don't think it's an option to add this to the iso.
It's no big deal and your right LibreOffice takes care of It.

Dolphin>Control>Services lets you select what the context menu shows.

I know this perfectly, it just seems a bit overkill to have two ways of doing the same thing by default. Sorry if I'm nitpicking here.

Not at all; all suggestions gratefully received!

It's good that there are so few show-stoppers being reported.
