Here are 2 screenshots of this. Hope this helps to solve it.

I even need to do this on the RC2 iso image? I will try.
Edit: this solved it, MX Linux could be installed.

New problem occurred:
In the new installed MX Linux I can't record sound with Audacity 3.3.3 (installed via MX repos) played by Firefox. This was no issue in the past. No matter what audio input device I choose, no sound is recorded.

Trying to fix it I installed Kernel 6.3 and alsamixergui but nothing helped. Any help would be appreciated.

Not sure if this goes here or under packages, but I am unable to install AVIDemux. It appears in MXPI under Popular Applications | Video. Seems like the package doesn't actually exist. I tried the default repo (following a fresh install) as well as a different one (in QSI).

Re: MX-23 RC2 (KDE) feedback thread

Hi @dolphin_oracle,
I have booted MX23 RC2 and checked updates, and see there is new version 23.7.12.
But this version has empty description of changes in Discover. May I test it regarding LUKS+BTRFS or pre-made LUKS+BTRFS?

Thanks,
Andy
