One last thing, my OS was working fine ( no lagging, everything was smooth..), one day I was playing a game and my pc suddenly shuts down, and I couldn't boot anymore and that's where the problem started. From that point I could only boot with nomodeset.

Perhaps it is broken. How does it perform in the live environment?

The dmesg(8) output may provide some clues, this command will upload it to a pastebin and return a link that you can post here:

Code: Select all

sudo dmesg | curl -F 'f:1=<-' ix.io

I can't boot to live usb normally, I need to use nomodeset. I installed windows 10 thinking it will probably fix the problem, but no...

In fact, as in the above links and some other forums, the same card works with "radeon" .
However the complaints are almost the same.. L. Mint, Ubuntu, Manjaro .. So, it's not distro-related .. This time people ask "how can I not use the radeon and use amdgpu instead?" etc..

Though I've no idea if it would work / how to install, the 64bit Linux result on AMD :(https://www.amd.com/en/support/graphics ... eon-r7-370)

And.. have you downloaded and installed drivers for Windows (10) ?

Yes, I can download the drivers (while using the microsoft basic display adapter), but the moment I install them and the moment they load my display just turns black, the monitor is on but it just shows black screen. After that I need to hard reboot about 2 times and windows will get in safe mode. I am starting to think that there is something wrong with my GPU...
