That was the ticket. Did that yesterday evening and got the OS installed, whole thing took less than five minutes probably. Thanks! BTW I love the color scheming, makes it a lot easier to interpret the CLI

Thanks for the report. I'm updating the cli-installer to install grub if not installed and also give an option for stub installer.

Adrian, did you change something with network device drivers or anything when updating the CLI script to include the grub installation? I had decided to start from scratch again on this macbook and when booting up from the new MX-CLI from a usb drive, it no longer seems to know about my wireless interface.
only lists the ethernet and the loopback. I don't remember having this problem the last time I installed this respin

I cut more and more stuff to get the minimum possible, now the CLI ISO is at 363.9 MB...

It's pretty much like a chroot environment only that it can boot our live environment.

very nice...to be added to some kind of bare bones toolbox?
