Great! I'll look for the announcement. Everything is pretty much working at this point. The one issue I ran into today was that it was easier to mount an external hard drive from within Thunar in XFCE than in fluxbox. I find I spend about half the working day in fluxbox, which is a very distraction free environment.

Just use Thunar in MXFB: it's right there (F3)!

I did, but it didn't want to look at the external drive. It's not a typical external drive, but a laptop hard drive that's plugged into the USB port using a special cable. No problem recognizing it in XFCE, but fluxbox seemed to have trouble with it. I didn't try to diagnose any further, I'll probably mess with it over the next week and see if it was user error or if there is some real difference in the way they recognize and auto-mount the drives using that cable.

I like to use MX, if that can be my contribution to the community, then I like to do it.

Been testing MX-19.1 for a few months - and now finally installed it to my main computer.
MX has some real nice tweaks and apps, making configuration a breeze.
Xfce DE is nice and smooth - but I really prefer to run it in Fluxbox.

Update - got my idesk icons arranged in a better alignment after watching Jerry's power tools video.
