OK, I'm going to do a quick point release to fix the menu. If you had 2 other changes you would suggest, what would they be?

Do you mean WRT the menu only? If so, shutdown and reboot would be key for me.

Is it possible to at least have a quick look at what happens when you drag and drop the FAQ icon? Or a I the only person seeing (or rather not seeing) that issue?

It doesn't drag and drop, since Fluxbox has no ability to have icons on top of its windows. It's sitting in something called iDesk, and its coordinates are set in the file fluxhelp.lnk in ~/.idesk. There is an iDesk FAQ in the doc/ folder (it's not great).

Thanks; I did understand that. I didn't want to move it (and knew I could by modifying iDesk), but when I tried it to see what might happen, the icon vanished.

Have you tried dragging it, and if so what happened?

I would recommend to add thunar --daemon to the fluxbox startup, for a faster start up of the same and for the automonting of usb devices ...
To add shutdown options just add to the menu:

[exec] (Sospendi) {sudo 'pm-suspend'}
[exec] (Riavvia) {sudo 'reboot'}
[exec] (Spengi) {sudo 'poweroff'}

@Wasp: suspend is already there and works fine without sudo, the other two are on the table for inclusion. May have a submenu Exit or something like that

@Chris: here is the super duper technical discussion of drag

http://idesk.sourceforge.net/html/usage.html

I see that icon only existing on the desktop until the user realizes that F1 will get it. It's just to get the user started.

Sorry if I missed this upthread but I justed fully updated and I don't see Fluxbox in my 18.3 MXPI panel under window managers. Is this 19 only?

No but mxpi may not have been updated. Just run sudo apt install mx-fluxbox
