Please run MX Tools/Quick System Info, then right-click paste into a reply. (Quick System Info automatically copies the information to your clipboard, already formatted properly for pasting into the forum so all you have to do is a right-click/ paste, not a copy/paste) as was requested in the first post in this topic. Thanks.

it says "system has not been booted with systemd as init system (PID 1). Can't operate. Failed to connect to bus: Host is down." Any idea how to fix this?
MX Linux does not boot with systemd by default but there should be an entry to do so in the "Advanced Options" GRUB sub-menu. If you want to run with systemd permanently then install the systemd-sysv package but note that the developers can only provide support for sysvinit. I can help with systemd though, if you get stuck.

you will want to install a 5.2 kernel for better vega 10 support.

Any suggestions?

do other ports not work, or just the front ones? and If I understand correctly, the front ports work when running the live-usb? Do the rear ones still work when running the live-usb?

that is an odd one. Does charging work when you have the system powered off?

fstrim is installed by default
and runs automatically, if you have
an SSD installed.

MX uses SysVinit by default.
It uses systemd-shim for app compatibility.

Systemd, per se, Is not installed.
