It turned out to install 23 Beta, recorded the image using MX Live Usb-Maker and no critical error message appeared.

Forgive me if this isn't anything to worry about!
I have been pretty impressed with the Beta as I tried it on a new home-built PC and not only did the PC run without issues but the Beta software also installed and found everything without complaint or the need to edit config files. However I did notice that after a couple of updates apt gave warnings about amdgpu (I am using AMD Ryzen 7 5700G without a dedicated Graphic Card currently). This is a screen shot of the latest one:

@jacklarge That's normal. The amdgpu package provides drivers for multiple cards. I get the same message with my 6700XT when initramfs gets updated.

Dear Developers,

I know that you use MX Linux in English.
@marcelocripe and I would be happy to improve the localization of MX Linux.
I made a comparison of the localization packages installed on Debian 12, Antix 23 Full (fr_BE) and MX Linux 23 (fr_BE).
Some really important packages are missing from MX Linux.
MX Linux could copy these fundamental packages when installing in a language other than English.
Is this complicated to do?
I'm not a Linux specialist, so maybe other fundamental packages are missing.

Dear Developers,

I can confirm Debian 12 with Gnome and a Nvidia graphics card.
Wayland is not compatible with the proprietary Nvidia driver.

If that is true, that is incredibly disappointing to hear, and I'm not sure why Nvidia or Debian would allow Wayland solutions to be released and then not be compatible in any way whatsoever with Nvidia hardware. Nouveau is fine for office work, web browsing, and media playing, but anything more intensive than that and you're gonna need the proprietary drivers, period, end of story.

I guess it's not that big a deal at all in the end, but damn it, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't looking forward to finally having a stable Wayland experience on MX/Debian.

The « nouveau » driver has made huge progress and works very well with Wayland. I think it’s a good solution for older graphics cards that can no longer get the proprietary Nvidia driver. They are well integrated into the Gnome desktop environment. I was surprised to see that there was no more screen tearing, for example. But « nouveau » doesn’t yet use the full potential of Nvidia graphics cards. Nvidia is still keeping some of its language a secret.
I also think that Nvidia is not developing a proprietary driver compatible with Wayland. It’s not Debian’s fault.
In conclusion, it can’t be easy for MX Linux developers to combine all these KDE, Gnome, « nouveau », Wayland options...

Curious to see if MX-23 beta would be any problems for this computer, only had time to run a few live sessions of MX-23 b2 and have to congratulate the MX team what wonderful work, honestly tried to find anything that didn't work properly went back in a few time just could not find anything MX have that is broken or just not what it should be,

software tried and worked out well
Geeqie I like it good for comparing before and after Gimp adjustments
Gimp no problems impressive
Quod Libet music player since GmusicBrowser is not on with Debian anymore
FSearch super lightning fast as usual
Artha, Backintime and Timeshift
All work on Ext4 filesystem no encryption no Nvidia

No problems with MXLinux
KDE is really amazing just be nice if KDE didnot remove the desktop cube bad enough when KDE removed each desktop having a separate wallpaper now the cube is gone,

I guess it doesn't serve any real purpose except maintenance resources that be used in other places But it just so cool to show off with, progress.
