the papirus icon theme takes forever to update. its highly compressed. so you very likely just didn't wait long enough. I mean it takes a loooonnnnnngggggg time.
[/quote]
I do appreciate that, but stuck on 5.8% for over half an hour beats all previous records here for that theme! :)

hello dolphin_oracle
mx-idesktool
Melber's is a solid model. Thank You.
Melber Your invitation "Could we build...?" appreciated.
svg to png conversion.
<convert-im6.q16> has the alias <convert>
It uses librsvg2-bin [rsvg-convert] internally if, when svg input, though
<convert> expands the input file to any Type format. png, xpm, svg to png.
, so, there is no Condition for svg or not-svg file; all idesktool icons run through the same pass for moving copyidesk.png to a home directory.
This script does not resize the image to 48x48; tried it on the mx-tour95x96png and 480x480svg(a 512x512png displays at 48x48) tried it on pixmaps custom-toolbox 298x270svg(a 298x270png displays at 48x48;)
idesk is set in this script to initialize icon display at 48x48; did that with the introduction of svg support.
When creating custom lnk files,
png idesk displays sized view png;
svg idesk display must be sized-square x=y view svg.
mx-idesktool icons are stored in a home directory.
This is one more time i must not sneak-in CursorOver: gumby
If you do not do that last step of Drag New Icon Away, TEXT36 TEXT22, compensate, then this script will not stack New icons atop same space; there is a chance the New icon will not hide.
sample
and play. run this color names
<convert -list Color>

For anyone who wants a Plank Firefox Icon fix for MX-23, Beta-1:
I am posting my solution in this thread, since someone has requested it.
A slight change from the fix for MX-21 (both Xfce & KDE).
A bit easier, and less complicated. The steps are included in the plain-text file here:
Simple Instructions to Fix Firefox Icon Problem in Plank for Any User.txt
At least one person was helped with my fix for MX-21.
As I stated in my post for MX-21, I AM NOT A DEVELOPER, and as such, I make no claim that my fix is the proper way to handle the Plank problem. However, it has worked for me for both Xfce & KDE for MX-23, Beta-1, and has not produced any unwanted side-effects or unwanted behavior.
If anyone (especially developers!) see any problems with my solution, in terms of causing any issues or side-effects, please let me know!
FYI: I have seen some requests on the Plank developer's site to correct the issue of a missing Firefox Icon, or worse, a second, blurry icon; however, the issue has not been resolved by the maintainers of Plank. I'll post there, and see if I get lucky!

That's because the papirus-icon-theme has thousands of icons in different colors.
