Timeshift snapshots via BTRFS filesystems on LUKS encrypted root partition are working.
edit: in Linux Mint. In MX Linux it does not work.

As I've gotten used to this deficiency ...

I forgot to say that the problem with the cursor moving or jumping continues in this version too, I'm refering to what was discussed here:

*I did all the different recommendations given for a touchpad configuration but nothing worked -- not here in MX-23 either.

I am trying the following:
as the last line in /etc/sudoers:
%sudo ALL=(ALL:ALL) NOPASSWD: /usr/sbin/gparted
but it still asks me for the password

try this
sudo visudo
root ALL=(ALL:ALL)

That's because the user (in use) making the change is still required to provide a password. After the change is implemented, no password will be required.

Thanks. For comparison, what errors do you get on MX Linux with encrypted btrfs.

I''ll reinstall it again (as it was replaced by Mint just before a while )
But as I remember, just timeshift not allowing to select BTRFS option, maybe even not showing its partition.
Please guide me what logs to send to you (beside the ordinary ones).

Not sure, as much info/screenshot as you can provide showing that "it does not work".

Not sure, as much info/screenshot as you can provide showing that "it does not work".

I have provided much more, in fact everything DolphinOracle asked for.
Please search about two weeks before.

Hello @fehlix,
First I was reporting a bug, that installer let me go without /boot partition assigned.
But after properly assingnig /boot and installed to / on BTRFS on LUKS, Timeshift does not allow to use BRTFS and throws errors.
