Hi, I'm sorry for such an individual machine that I can't test it's difficult to say:

- Is it possible for you to create the boot disk with MX Live USB Maker? That is all I ever test with (other than ISO tests in Virtual Machines)
- You have disabled secure boot in the UEFI settings?
- A longshot is to update the live system to a newer kernel and then install, I think in a Live session MX Tools allows a 'Live Remaster' function (I've never tested it)
- AVL-23.2 still installs to boot with sysvinit, on some systems after install lightDM would be fully dimmed and present as a black screen but there would be no error message.
