Edit ; Use Deadbeef instead of XMMS in preferences to play music if not wanting to open the browser. When using streamtuner in MX Fluxbox.

Interesting, does anyone know about the audio quality, or how/if it selects songs with better quality?
Seems to work in Audacious too.

MX-21.3 Xfce Version: 2.2.1+dfsg-2.1 MXPI – Enabled, Suggests: audacious, vlc, totem
FYI - The latest version is 2.2.2 and it was updated on soft112.com on 29 March, 2024.

2022-11-06 - "Well this is running very well on linux (mx linux-debian base) After install of latest .deb file it didnt open so I edit the application launcher to read /usr/bin/python3.9 /usr/bin/streamtuner2…." https://sourceforge.net/p/streamtuner2/ ... it=25#88ca

More on Antix forum too.

I think? - can record some with https://streamripper.sourceforge.net/faq.php
