but somehow is in first place with 279 votes for the second round. (MX ended the first round with 125 votes)

I consider surveys to be on about the same level as horoscopes. It can be fun, but you don't spend much time on it.
Or you could take a 20-sided dice from a fantasy board game and roll the "winner".

Or just pick your nose with your finger, probably makes more sense.

Polls like this aren't qualitative. They're about which distro's forum can rally the most potential voters.

Good catch. That proves that neither one of those polls have any validity.

Unless a clever bot is at work, we have enough members to win if we all vote.
