Re: antiX-19 released

I don't get it: why not install ceni if it works? When I travel with antiX I always have ceni as the backup.
Support for MX and antiX Linux distros

I guess if you still have eth0, wlan0 etc. it should be ok.ceni is dead, can't handle the new device naming scheme.

This can happen if you don't set the time correctly on the system (live or not). The system thinks the updates are in the future. Unfortunately, due to a horrendous bug in the kernel we leave ntpd disabled on the live system so you need to set the time manually. Or you could try again in 5 hours.namida12 wrote: Thu Dec 19, 2019 3:10 pm Can't use synaptic in live mode?

I can't tell for sure from the inxi -F output if you booted UEFI (others might be able to). If this command succeeds and shows files then you have booted UEFI:namida12 wrote: Thu Dec 19, 2019 3:10 pmI can boot from USB Stick, but can not install to this system - Have turned off secureboot and it appears I am running in UEFI mode, but can't install in UEFI mode.
