We're looking to collect info for specific laptops running antiX-15 or MX-15. Please post here, and we will take care of reviewing for the Wiki.
Suggested format:
1) 32 or 64bit?
2) can you boot to the desktop?
3) what works OOTB?
4) what doesn't work OOTB? Did you find a fix?
5) Comments (short)
6) inxi -F

Dell Latitude 830 running MX-15 32 bit.
Boot to the desktop?
So far everything working OOTB that I use
I don't use this laptop as a daily driver. Not connected to any printers or other wired devices. However it will print to an HP Envy 4501 printer wirelessly.

Dieselrider - thanks for the post. In order for us to transfer the information in inxi you gave to the wiki, instead of a screenshot, could you post the actual output in code blocks. It would make our job much easier. thanks.

Toshiba Portege M700. An old laptop with rotating screen that will also serve as a (heavy) tablet.
32 bit
Boots to the screen.
Everything seems to boot and run- have used this Toshiba on MX 14 since the beginning. It is the back-up for the main work desktop
and has Win XP in a dual boot installation.

Acer Aspire 3680
(Nice little machine, was free to me, surprisingly snappy despite the slow processor. The slow Hitachi 5400 RPM died, oh darn, that old 32G OCZ SSD will fit !Now the laptop is even better. Oh yea, with MX-14, It had ridiculous up times (albeit often in suspend mode) of >280 days)
1) 32 or 64bit?
-32 bit the 386iso
2) can you boot to the desktop?
-Yes
3) what works OOTB?
-Everything so far, but my use is limited, it is a banking computer, no e-mail, no web surfing except to bank and retirement on line accounts. I connect with WiFi, and I was able to get it working in a few minutes.
4) what doesn't work OOTB? Did you find a fix?
5) Comments (short) Haven't tried sound yet. Video seems OK. Goes to suspend when I close the lid,, and wakes up properly.

64 bit.
This one was cranky during testing and very kernel sensitive, didn't like 3.16 at all.

Restarted the laptop and pressed F2 to enter SETUP. Went to "BOOT" section and changed the boot order of the devices. Set the CD/DVD Reader as the first boot device and the Hard Drive as the second.
Downloaded and wrote the ISO / Image of MX-15_x64 Fusion (24 December 2015) to a DVD. Placed the DVD in the drive and restarted the computer. Booted up to MX-15 Fusion Desktop. Clicked on the network icon and selected my network and typed in the password. Connection was established. I clicked on the install-MX15 on the desktop and was off. I already have Windows7 installed on the first partition of the hard drive. I created 3 new (ext4) partitions from empty space on the drive. 1.) / called slash. 2.) /home and 3.) a swap partition. After the install was done, it asked if I wanted to install GRUB for both windows & linux and where to write it. I said Yes and chose the MBR. Just after that MX15-Linux restarted and paused for the DVD to be removed. I removed it and pressed enter. MX15-Linux restarted the machine and I was at the MX15 64bit desktop. Sound, video, usb mouse and all just worked out of the box. It was that easy. The only thing I had to configure was my epson wf-3540 printer. I didn't install any drivers, I just used CUPS. (( Common Unix Printing System)). Now, if I could stop messing it up!
MX15-Fusion and The Lenovo G560, Seem made for each other. MX runs beautifully on the Lenovo.
While I was in SETUP, I noticed Intel "Virtual" Technology, was disabled. I enabled it.
Here is a little more information on the Lenovo G560.

Lenovo Thinkpad W520
1) 32 or 64bit?
-64bit
2) can you boot to the desktop?
-boots to desktop no problem
3) what works OOTB?
-Almost everything works OOTB, even have bumblebee working without issues (which I cannot say for other distros) with intel/Nvidia graphics. If using 64bit and kernel 4.2.0-0.bpo.1-amd64 make sure that you install bumblebee-nvidia from backports or the module won't be created.
4) what doesn't work OOTB? Did you find a fix?
-A couple buttons I don't see working are the microphone on/off button and my FN/suspend button combo. I haven't found a fix yet for the microphone, but I am able to enable/disable it in the mixer. For the suspend button I just had to turn "Handle display brightness keys" on in Xfce power managaer.
5) Comments
-This is how a linux distro should be. Works straight OOTB with no fuss. Fantastic job team!

So Mike, that looks like five old beater doorstops you've resurrected with Linux.
That's fun. I really love doing that. Get a charge out of it every time.

Acer c720 Chrombook
I'm running live. I have not installed to this laptop.
1) 32 or 64bit? 32 bit works out of the box. 64 bit works with a different kernel.
2) can you boot to the desktop? Yes
3) what works OOTB? - everything, although the chromebook keyboard special keys act as function keys. the search key is the Super Key.
4) what doesn't work OOTB? 64 bit iso will not get past boot loader screen. Just automatically reboots. I'm using a custom snapshot iso with the 4.2.3 liquorix kernel and a custom keyboard shortcut file to remap the "special" keys to more obvious functions. Touchpad is a little muddy. Using a custom 50-c720-touchpad.conf to make a few adjustments.
5) Comments (short) - Only running live on this system. Have not tried installing. Chromeos needs to be put into developer mode for usb boots to work.

HP x2 10-n054a Detachable laptop
1) 64-bit MX on 64-bit processor with 32-bit UEFI only.
2) Live boot to desktop fine. Installed boot a problem. Now OK with 'nomodeset' cheat.
3) Basically OK OOTB (see 4)
4) No audio, no network. Fix in prospect for network (kernel patch yet to be tested). Audio fix looks doubtful.
5) Decided to classify this as laptop rather than netbook. Nice machine to handle, OK as Win8 (if you like that) and runs MX-15 in VBox on Win8 OK. Definitely a struggle to install MX and still a work-in-progress.

1) 32 or 64bit?
MX-15.01_386 on live usb with persistence on 64bit CPU.
2) Can you boot to the desktop?
Yes, I can boot to the desktop.
3) What works OOTB?
Everything works OOTB with one minor exception (see #4).
4) What doesn't work OOTB? Did you find a fix?
On shutdown the 'antiX Save Persistent Root' window (pic attached) opens with the Yes and No buttons below the monitor (i.e. not visible) and the window cannot be resized.
The fix is to grab the window with the alt key and move it so the buttons are visible. Everything works fine after that.
5) Comments (short)
I really enjoy using MX15. Thanks for a great distro. :)

4) Fn key for monitor brightness. See:
http://forum.mepiscommunity.org/viewtop ... 07&t=39690 Also, I can't get power management to turn the monitor off. I've played in the Power Management screen and cannot get the monitor to blank, sleep, or shut off after given time intervals. In lieu, I'm using the "Blank Screen" screensaver (which was on after default install anyhow). Lastly, a potential issue with local DNS resolution:
http://forum.mepiscommunity.org/viewtop ... 04&t=39694
5) Compared to MX-14 on the same machine, it feels more responsive, users fewer CPU cycles (I'm using one of the CPU monitor panel plugins), and as a result runs cooler. I've yet to hear the fan speed up to 100%. It also seems to be more efficient with memory consumption, even though it is 64bit. I think it may have something to do with my use of IceWeasel on MX-14--it seemed to have a memory leak that would cause it to bloat over time. On MX-15, using the default Firefox and so far after a day of use, it seems to be holding its memory consumption better than IceWeasel did.

For what it's worth, I'm adding what I know about the laptop with the new hardware that I tested at a shop, per my post here:
http://forum.mepiscommunity.org/viewtop ... 38#p383038
No inxi info.
64-bit laptop running Windows 10.
CPU: Intel i7 6700HQ (Skylake series)
Graphics card: NVIDIA Geforce GTX 950M
Wireless/Bluetooth: Intel 3165 wireless chipset
15+ inch screen.
My live USB snapshot of MX15 with liquorix 4.3-3 kernel ran well after disabling Secure Boot. Navigated with touchpad so it worked.
Wireless card detected and connected fine to the internet. Sound worked. I was able to adjust volume and screen brightness with the hardware Fn keys. Flash/youtube worked.

I use the old Lenovo B460e.
MX 15 32 bit. Works out of the box, the only distro that works OOTB. Everything that comes bundled up works fine.
The only thing I would say, as a comment, is that, maybe there could be a more modern desktop ootb. A good splash theme with MX branding for starters would be awesome. Regarding the system, its rock solid and does its job fantastically well. Sure, we can add gtk themes, icon themes but still, maybe more branded artwork is needed.
inxi -F output shows:

1) 64 bit Dell 830
2) yes
3) wifi and sound tested, sensors-detect not set up as yet for inxi output
4) NA
5) master sound is 24%, I guess you assume I install in library....how about 70% as default?
b) I prefer wicd for GUI wifi as it offers to not show networks and can have ethernet turned off as default

Just tried MX-15 live on my Asus Zenbook UX305FA, currently running Linux Mint Cinnamon 17.3:
1) 64bit
2) No problem
3) Almost everything minus BT.
4) BlueTooth seems pretty broken. It has trouble connecting to my phone and when it does it can't seem to do anything. It also fails to to play music through my BT speaker.
5) I'm considering MX-15 as the next distro for this laptop.

@eladhen, did you download a snapshot or the original release? I ask because since the original release we have updated blueman and would like to know if it is the newer version you are having trouble with or the original.
Thanks for reporting!

I booted it with the latest October snapshot. I would really like to make Bluetooth work and I'm willing to do some testing if you can tell me what to try.

When running into Savage,Via,or Sis graphics chips on legacy laptops. I run with the vesa driver.
It is just easier and gives better results for me with the newer Xorg that ships with AntiX 15.
