Same liveUSB , different machine, a dell optiplex 780 with 4gb ram, but only 3 available due to shared video ram. I was surprised that the strange little proprietary Dell pci WIFI card (with Broadcom 4321) actually works.

special treat, acer c720 chromebook, running mx14 live w/ persistence.
by default, audio and the touchpad do not work. wireless works straight away (thank you acer for putting an atheros chipset in this thing instead of broadcom).

much faster than the old netbook.
I hear that the 3.14 kernel may have support for the hardware in this chromebook. I am not going to install onto the chromebook, but the option for a real os from USB is pretty sweet, in a pinch.

I think I've got the record for a system using MX-14 that's actually being used with it so far (up time) compared to other user posting info so far, versus booting into MX-14 to post the info in this thread. :-)
See the "Info" section at the bottom of the results for a little Dell Inspiron 11Z Netbook in my post here:
http://forum.mepiscommunity.org/viewtop ... 30#p337130
Up time was 8 days at the time of the post (and it's longer by now). My wife's great niece (her sister's daughter's daughter) has been visiting with us, and I've been letting her use that netbook, and I setup a user account under MX-14 just for her on it. It doesn't look like she's bothered to reboot it since I gave it to her setup that way. :-)
I do see that it's running hot (noticed it when running inxi - F). So, I probably need to try adding pcie_acpm=force to the kernel boot line to see if that solves it. Here's a post about that option:
http://forum.mepiscommunity.org/viewtop ... 43#p336043
